During
the month of April, we will be canvassing the community for our Annual Support
Campaign which allows us to reach out to children in need.
The dollars put toward this effort do not come from membership and
program fees. The campaign’s
success depends on the charitable contributions from friends like you.
The
story of the Sandusky Area YMCA is one of neighbors coming together to build a
strong and vibrant community. For
members that means new friends along with new opportunities for fun, fitness and
personal fulfillment. But just as
important are our efforts to reach out to the entire community, including those
who are often most in need—our children.
Our
2007 Annual Support Campaign will help us provide a wide range of programs and
activities for families. These
include day care, after-school activities, youth sports, swimming lessons, and
programs especially for families.

As
a charitable non-profit organization here in Sandusky, the YMCA is dedicated to
being available to all of our children. That’s
why we began our Annual Support Campaign. And
it’s why we’re asking for your support and involvement to insure its
success.
Only
with your help can we provide more children with a safe and nurturing place to
go after school...or give teens guidance and create the activity they need.
Together we can give every child a “place to go”
and “a chance to grow”.
